Where ocean culture lives.

Part ocean hub, part storytelling space, The Sea House was created to bring people closer to the ecosystems we work to protect and restore. And it's yours to gather in, too.

A home base for everyone who loves the ocean.

Just a few blocks from the ocean in Encinitas, The Sea House is the home of Seatrees—a community space where ocean restoration, storytelling, science, surf, art, and culture come together.

It's where our team collaborates on global restoration initiatives, where partners, scientists, creatives, and community members gather to exchange ideas, and where films, workshops, exhibitions, dinners, and conversations inspire action for the ocean. When not hosting Seatrees programming, The Sea House is available for mission-aligned gatherings, offering a warm, light-filled venue where every event helps support ocean restoration.

Every gathering here helps restore the ocean.

Seatrees is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to restoring coastal ecosystems, supporting local communities, increasing biodiversity, and reversing climate change. By connecting individuals, businesses, and communities with high-impact restoration projects, we help regenerate coastal marine ecosystems around the world. Through science, storytelling, and trusted local partnerships, we're making it easier for everyone to take meaningful action for the ocean.
