The Sea House is proud to host events for our community, and sometimes we need help to make that happen. Here is what we are looking for right now.

• Event Bartender — You must be 21 or older and hold a valid California RBS certification. No cocktail mixing and no extensive bartending experience needed.
• Sea House Event Volunteer — A great opportunity to connect with the Seatrees community and support events that bring together ocean advocates, artists, partners, and community members.

Questions people ask.

• Do I need bartending experience? — No. The bar here is beer and wine, so there is no cocktail program to learn. What matters is that you are reliable, comfortable talking to people, and legally able to serve in California.
• What is RBS certification, and do I need it? — Responsible Beverage Service certification is required by California law for anyone serving alcohol, and we ask that bartenders here be 21 or older. Please have a valid RBS certification before working an event with us.
• Is the bartending role paid? — Yes. Bartending is a paid, on-call contract role, and we will talk through rates when we follow up.
• How often would I work? — As often as you want to. Most events are weeknight evenings and weekends. Please tell us how many events a month you would like to help out with.
