The everyday version of what being a member of this house actually looks like.

• Exclusive events, weekly and monthly — A members' calendar running alongside the public one: something every week, and a bigger night once a month, for the people who keep this place going.
• Premium amenities — The house at its best when you are in it. Members get the amenities we hold for the people who make this room work.
• Priority on private rentals — When you want the space for something of your own, members go to the front of the line. First claim on dates before they open up to everyone else.
• A place in the directory — The people who show up here are worth knowing. Members can find and message each other in the member directory.

Membership carries two things at once, and they are the same thing.

A building a few blocks from the Pacific is not free to keep open. Membership covers the rent, the lights, the programming, and the people who make a night here feel like something. What is left goes where Seatrees sends everything else: into the water, as mangroves, kelp, coral, and seagrass. That is the whole idea. The room exists to bring people closer to the ecosystems we restore, and the people in the room are what makes the restoration possible.

One membership, two ways to pay. We review every request, so this is a hello before it is a payment. Every dollar goes to keeping this room open and the restoration work behind it in the water.

Questions people ask.

• How do I join? — Send a request from the card above. We read every one, and you are not charged anything until we have accepted you.
• What does it cost? — $5,000 a year, or $500 a month. Both are the same membership. Paying annually saves you $1,000.
• Can I cancel? — Yes, from your account, whenever you like. You keep everything through the end of the period you have already paid for, and you are not charged again after that.
• Is this tax deductible? — Seatrees is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit and we will send you a receipt for every payment. Because membership includes benefits, the deductible portion may be less than the full amount. Your tax advisor is the right person to confirm what applies to you.
